It's a throwback story. I was still living in Jakarta back then, and the only options for me to go to the beach at that moment was going to Bali, which it took you 1.5 hour flight with a pocket full of cash. Until one day, a best friend invite me to their beach house in Bayah, Roemah Pulomanuk ( Pulomanuk House). Dang! I found another escape.  Bayah located approximately 5-6 hours of driving from Jakarta. Sounds better to go to Bali? Maybe at first. We're leaving Jakarta around 10pm and arriving at Bayah around 2.30 am. If you are a rookie with the route, don't try to drive at night, it might confuse you though. Since it was dark, I cannot see anything, but yet I got this beautiful bedroom with fresh ocean's air and amazing set of bathroom.  Do not expect to be able to get in touch with anyone while you are in Roemah Pulomanuk, it might  frustrate you at the beginning, but after a while you will feel a certain comfort that you are not nagging to your mobile pho...
