New Road to the Wine World: My first Wine Review: 19 Crimes Cali Red

I never think about the possibillity of learning wine. I don't even think this thing exist! It turns out so many things about wine that you can learn. The history, the style, the production, oh Lord, so many. I'm very lucky to be such a good friend with bu Widya, we happened to work together back in 2014 and she was the EAM for F&B in the resort I was working. She looked scary at the beginning, but she's actually nice and very smart. She was the Bali President Sommelier Association and in the future year she was becoming the first WSET educator in Indonesia. I spent a lot of time with her, I joined couple of times of her wine classes, as she is now working for Hatten Education Center. From that classes, I inspired to join the WSET, and I did. I passed level 1 and as I'm writing I just finished the exam for Level 2 WSET in Wines. Fingers cross, I passed. So today, I'm trying to do my first wine review, and I want to review the wine with unique label. Hmm, like judging a wine from its label. The wine called 19 Crimes.England's practice of transporting criminals to Australian penal colonies is the inspiration for this label. Between 1788 and 1868, the Australian penal colonies were forced to send convicts to the Australian penal colonies for a variety of offenses. I'm choosing 19 Crimes Cali Red that has Snoop Dogg on its label. 19 Crimes is by its very nature defiant, brave, and never gives in.They work with Snoop Dogg, who has all of these qualities and more because he works hard and doesn't give up. Snoop Dogg makes culture, comes up with new ideas, and is a leader in the pop culture world.
The wine comes from California Origin vintage 2019, Red Wine. If seen, the wine is medium purle in color and has medium intensity on the nose which means you can smell the wine when you put the glass in front of your chin. If you swirl to open the wine you can smell redcurrant, strawberry, red cherry, plum, a pint of pepper, cloves and charred wood. This wine is blend of Petit Syrah, Zinfandel and Merlot. As expected from the 3 wines, the wine is dry but very fruity, level of acidity is medium, so you can drink very easy and not pinching your eyes, the tannin also medium with smooth finish and a little satisfying sweetness. With the price that is very inexpensive, I think this wine is worth the price. Label, taste and price: good. Ciao! See you on the next wine review.
