A Magic Found in Bali: Sudamala Suites and Villas Sanur

One of my favorite author once said,"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic, will never find it." 

I believe in magic, and I found it. 

 The magic lies in the busy life of Sanur, Bali's first destination.It might not be located on direct beach access, but it gives you more experience than you ever expected. 

 You will feel the warmth of Sudamala Suites and Villas Sanur started by the time you have reach the main entrance. Greeted by Ares Steak & Pasta, also by Sudakara Art Space, which from time to time change their exhibition. Then you will lead to the lobby, which located in front of Natah Saji (courtyard) and feel the breeze of the ocean's nearby. If you never feel you will find a resort with every detail is being thought of, this is the one. 






When you step in to the room, they will always make sure your room is fully air conditioned, which very much needed after a long morning in the heat of Bali. Did I mention that the room is huge? It is a very huge room, you can definitely dance around in your room. Huge room, huge bed, soft pillow, it really does promise you a good night sleep. 

 The bathroom is semi outdoor, with the sink inside next to the walk in closet. Toiletries is always an issue for me personally, sometimes you forgot your soap, or you're running out of shampoo, and most of the time I forgot my body lotion, but with Sudamala, you have nothing to  worry about. All good quality that they deliver, it goes to the toiletries also. You don't need to spend another penny for the small stuff. 






Another favorite spot is the Ares Steak and Pasta. It serves breakfast to dinner with the specialties Steak and Pasta. Since it's been few months that I haven't eat meat, I never tried the steak, but my friends told me it's too die for. I can comment on the pasta, it never dries, it has a perfect softness of how a pasta should be and the sauce, all sauce there are available on the menu, are amazing. From the piscatory to ratatouille, everything taste excellent. The price is also worth the value. By the way, they have good coffee. 






I always judge a resort from it turndown service. I love surprises. I love the feeling of not knowing what do they give me by the end of the day. I once got fruits, chocolate, cakes, but at the Sudamala Suites & Villa Sanur, you got a cookie (yes a nice one) and a bed time story. And it changes every night. The bed time story is rolled and tied with a very cute rope, and put in a basket with the cookie. All you need is a cup of tea which they provide you in the room. Forgetting your book on the holiday is no problem, you have Indonesian classic stories each night.

Nyaman. Itu Saja. Bukan lain yang dicari.  Nyaman. Itu Saja. Bukan berlebih yang diminta.  Bahagia saya tidak sama dengan bahagiamu. Bahagia saya adalah rasa nyaman. Saat saya merasa nyaman di suatu tempat, pada suatu hal, dengan seseorang, saya akan bahagia. Nyaman itu mutlak bagi saya. I’M GETTING HITCHED: HEN PARTY AT THE MALL!!!!

My girls were blew me away with a day I will never forget!!! I know they are very creative people, but I don’t expect them to be “TOO CREATIVE”, and they all keep saying that they are busy. At first I was a bit devastated that none of my bridesmaid was seemed planning something, but they did it behind my back. (Ladies, I type this with my middle finger). (they added me after the hen party) I wasn’t sure what was going on, but Jaqueline insisted to meet her today at the Senayan City Mall. No clue, no sign, I was just being a good friend cause she said she wanted to tell me something. We ordered drinks, starts chatting…  suddenly I saw my crazy girls Nita, Cumi, Otty, Pitong, Cinta & Lina entering the coffee shop. I was pretty shock and smell something fishy.
